NATUROPATHY: FAQ FOR THE USE OF FUTURE NATUROPATHS
I get a lot of emails about my training, so I decided to compile the most frequently asked questions in a post for you
1. Why I chose ISUPNAT rather than CENATHO?
In all seriousness: the feeling.
I was (and still am) a fan of Daniel Kieffer, educational director of CENATHO and the core training is similar (this is the case for all schools affiliated to the FENAHMAN, I return below) .
But I had some hesitation over certain matters (eg the teaching of Chinese pulse outlet does not necessarily talk to me) and I have not had a crush on in school.
At ISUPNAT is pragmatism and good humor of our educational director Frédéric Boukobza which séduite.L'enseignement me in its entirety matched my expectations and I left the briefing convinced to have found my way .
After one year of training, I have no regrets: I had a very busy year and I met some super inspiring people. I loved most of my teachers, and I met some great classmates I'll see probably often.
It is a hyper intense year: a lot of work, called into question, work on oneself. It's fascinating, taking, exhausting, but I loved my training.
In summary, I think if you want to reconvert it is essential to attend information meetings in schools that you like. If you still have doubts, try to see naturopaths from both schools, this will let you get a better idea about the training provided.
2. How I chose my training? What is my opinion on distance learning?
As with everything in my life: I looked. For years I watched all the training, advice and testimonials. Then I was visited schools to be able to make my choice.
In my view, it is essential if you want to become a naturopath, choosing a college affiliated with theFENAHMAN (French Federation of Schools of Naturopathy) for it is now the reference quality of training in naturopathic profession in France. They are with the OMNES, the only national representative structures of Naturopathy with the public, the media and national authorities.
To date affiliated schools are:
I think it is impossible to form naturopathy correspondence: it takes a lot of practice and strong lessons to be comfortable to carry.
If you are interested in naturopathy, but you do not want / can not do training today, read books on the subject rather than paying training to obscure structures.
3. How I financed my education?
With my savings and working nearby.
4. Will I worked beside my training?
Yes, but I do not recommend it if you can help it. The curriculum is very intense (5 days of classes per week from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on average) with revisions and partial ... Both say that I did not get much sleep
5. Where will I do my internship?
I want to make at least two internships, one in catering and other organic shop! I still have a few months to do so I prefer to revise for my exams at the moment.
To find your courses: do not hesitate to take earlier in the year and ask your restaurant / bios favorite shops.
6. Do I live account of naturopathy?
Yes, but not only. I have many beautiful projects in progress, and I chose to start exercising part time (incidentally, ad: I am currently looking for a room to share with osteopaths, physiotherapists etc ... 3 or 11 in Paris !)
This will allow me to progress as a naturopath, to continue writing here and bopping to other media!
